Which position is to be filled?
The Area Sales Manager Southwest/Southern Germany is responsible for expanding and implementing an effective sales plan in the region. You will manage a network of channel partners (distributors, resellers, system integrators, etc.) as well as end customers.
You actively support our resellers in generating and delivering projects, assist with demos, and support them during tender processes (together with our Tender Desk Team). We foster a young, open, and international culture, and you will work with people of many different nationalities. What will your tasks and responsibilities be?
• You manage a network of resellers and end customers in your region; acquiring new customers is therefore nothing new to you;
• You identify, train, support, and motivate our resellers and end customers;
• You advise resellers on addressing end-customer needs and recommending the right solutions;
• You develop a business plan for your region that reflects our growth strategy;
• Continuous follow-up of leads using the CRM system (weekly reports/forecasts are required);
• Identifying and winning new projects;
• Joint customer visits with resellers to secure key end customers and projects;
• Planning and executing marketing plans in cooperation with our marketing department and distributors/resellers;
• Delivering product demonstrations, supporting trade fairs, and developing suitable activities to increase brand awareness;
• Together with a team of supportive colleagues, you are responsible for all activities required to achieve revenue and growth targets;
• Processing and sharing relevant market and customer information across the organization;
• Analyzing the competition and recommending appropriate strategies to gain market share.
What do you bring with you?
• A completed university degree or comparable education with relevant professional experience;
• At least 3 years of professional experience in B2B sales of ProAV or IT products/solutions;
• Strong communication and negotiation skills in German (native level) and English (fluent);
• Willingness to travel frequently within the region and attend regular meetings at our locations in Germany, Belgium, and the Netherlands;
• Familiarity with B2B channel structures, preferably in the IT, ProAV, product, or display industry;
• Experience with MS Office 365 and CRM systems;
• You are assertive, pragmatic, structured, proactive, and results-oriented;
• You have an entrepreneurial mindset, work independently, and bring a high level of energy;
• The customer always comes first for you;
• Preferably based in the respective region;
• Experience and an existing network of resellers and end customers in interactive and non-interactive display solutions for Education, Public Sector, and/or Corporate environments is an advantage.
